Gain in CsPbBr3 quantum dots – it’s all about biexcitons
13.12.2024
We report the biexcitonic origin of optical gain in spherical CsPbBr3 quantum dots (QDs), which also exhibit amplified spontaneous emission. This is clearly demonstrated by the gain threshold, its spectral position, and the gain time scale, as revealed by femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy. Our findings provide a solid foundation for targeted optimization of the light amplification properties of perovskite QDs.
