30th Chair Anniversary and Reunion

The Chair for Photonics and Optoelectronics celebrated it's 30th Anniversary with a scientific symposium on December 12. Former group leaders and post-doctoral researchers such as Jacek Stolarczyk, Lakshmi Polavarapu, Sol Carretero, Andrey Rogach, Thomas Klar, John Lupton, Milena de Giorgi, and Carsten Sönnichsen presented their past and current research in two exciting afternoon sessions. Later on, Uli Lemmer and Gero von Plessen reminded everybody of the first years in the 90s, an emotional journey back to the roots of our Chair. Most of the former PhD-students from all over Germany could join the symposium and enjoyed a remarkable reunion.
